UCF Libraries Book Cover Contest!

People always say that you should never judge a book by its cover, but the cover is a reader’s first introduction to that book. As readers we’re more likely to read a book’s description if the cover catches our eye. Now UCF students have a chance to catch our eye. UCF Libraries is challenging you to choose a title from the selection below and design a cover for the book!

Title options:

  • Knightro and the Strange, Scary Pandemic Semester
  • Knugget Takes a Vacation
  • The Golden Vulture Strikes Again

Image rules:

  • Format: jpg, png or pdf
  • No larger than letter size paper (8.5” x 11”)
  • No smaller than 4” x 6”
  • Orientation: either portrait or landscape

Deadline: Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 11:59pm

Contest Rules:

Contests for UCF students only.

One entry per student. If more than one entry is submitted by a student, all the entries by that person will be disqualified from the contest.
Judges reserve the right to not select a winner due to limited submissions, or lack of exceptional submissions.
Entries with explicit sexual content will not be considered for this contest.

KnightVerse:

All qualified submissions for contests with a declared winner will be included in KnightVerse, the student writing contest section of STARS which is the UCF Libraries digital repository. Once a work is added to the repository it cannot be removed. If your work was disqualified for violating the contest rules (see contest rules for details), it will not be included in KnightVerse.

Submit your work by clicking on Submit Item in the left column.

Winners will receive a #UCFLibrary water bottle and a Quiet Zone Rubber Ducky
