Information Power Plant Project Status and Projections

Subjects

Baltimore (Md.); Power-plants; Urban renewal; Real estate development; Business planning; Market research; Economic Research; Tourism

Description

The purpose of the Power Plant Charrette was to create hypothetical development strategy. It was hypothetical , as opposed to conceptual or definitive, because one week was not deemed enough time to fully think of, (let alone articulate and validate), a development strategy for such a complex project as an "information power plant," as had been described to the Harrison Price Company by Westinghouse. The purpose of the charrette was to define a plausible scenario, a hypothetical development strategy, for the successul development of the power plant, and document the scenario's key assumptions so that its feasibility may be judged.
