Reexamines Tyler's Basic Principles of Curriculum and Instruction critically in terms of its theoretical, practical, and productive aspects; the last of these employs a critical theory of technology (A. Feenberg, 1999);concludes that Tyler's technology of curriculum design has been inappropriately universalized and has ignored the subjectivity of teaching and learning.
