Department Chair: RoSusan D. Bartee, Ph.D.

The Educational Leadership and Higher Education (ELHE) department offers degree options, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, that provide students with a critical understanding of working collaboratively in either both K-12 and higher education administration, educational policy and technical education. Students in the department have a rich variety of options such as an Executive Ed.D. degree in Educational Leadership, an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration, Ph.D. in Higher Education and Policy Studies, Masters degree tracks in Education Leadership, Higher Education, and Career and Technical Education. Additionally, the department houses a minor and B.S. in Technical Education and Industry Training as well as graduate certificates.

Fully committed to bridging the gap between practitioner and theory, the department faculty work with students both in and outside the classroom, involving them in research according to interest and generating scholarship that has real-world impact.
