Biography

Although Monica Thomas was born in Mexico City, Mexico; she was raised in Miami, Florida. Her research interest is infectious diseases. Monica currently serves a mentor in the UCF PRIME (Student Support Services) Program. After obtaining her doctorate, her ultimate goal is to work as a microbiologist for the Center of Disease Control and Prevention
