Description/Abstract
Last year, the UCF Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology initiated the Program for Undergraduate Research (PURE). This presentation will give an overview of PURE and will consider program-related topics such as student interest, research progress, general organization, advertising, funding, and assessment. The talk is intended to provide audience members with a blueprint for how to create a PURE program for other disciplines and universities.
