The Good Samaritan Clinic exists to provide free medical and dental healthcare to the uninsured of West Volusia County. The clinic consists solely of volunteer medical and dental providers, volunteer nurses, a volunteer pharmacist, and volunteer support personnel.

Medical clinic for patients with appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5 PM until the last patient is seen, typically 8:30 PM. We hold dental clinic for patients with appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 PM until the last patient is seen. On Friday, dental clinic is held for patients with appointments from 9 AM to noon. Counseling classes for diabetes and life skills take place in the evening, and times may vary.

This is not a walk-in clinic - patients are seen and treated by prior appointment only. In order to become a patient at Good Samaritan Clinic, one must first make application and be qualified to become a patient.

Applicants may request applications to become patients after 3 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Applicants may submit applications and required documents to qualifiers in person from 3 PM to 7 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

  • May not be currently under treatment by any other clinic.
  • Must have resided in West Volusia County for 3 months (if homeless, 1 month).
  • Total income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older. They do not treat children.
  • Must not have insurance.

There is no cost for medical or dental treatment, most medications or counseling.
