A photo of construction of the FTU (UCF) Library in 1967 with a construction crane in the background. The concrete frame for the first above ground story has been completed, along with the basement (1st floor). The original design of the Library was split level, with what is now the 1st floor having an entrance (in the rear), as well as the 2nd floor having an entrance (in the front). When the library was expanded in 1984, the rear entrance was done away with, and the 1st floor essentially became the basement.
