Photo Description

A postcard of Howard Phillips Hall viewed from near the Library entrance. A few pine trees and students are in front of the building. Phillips Hall was originally known as the 'Classroom Building' (not to be confused with the current Classroom Building I on the North side of campus.) It was dedicated to Howard Phillips (1902 - 1979) in 1981. Phillips was a prominent Orlando businessman and philanthropist, and the son of "Doctor Phillips", the former orange grove magnate.
