Description

A leaf has a main function of photosynthesis and gas exchange. They help regulate carbon dioxide, oxygen and water vapor. So they are very strong yet delicate and that is something that I wanted to show in the book. There are different textures of paper that almost mimic the leaves texture. The design of the thread also mimics the movement of how leaves flow through the wind. The black and white photos act as a sneak peak to the next pages and also adds depth to the book. The pictures of trees represent where the leaves came from and how they started out before they fell and stopped growing. The color palette is calming with a little bit of accent colors to tie everything together. The book is a representation of how things change but there is always a rhyme or reason for that change.
