Description

A black and white image of the Bethune-Cookman choir singing at an outdoor event. The choir consists of male and female African American and Caucasian students. The students are dressed formally in suits and dresses, but are not wearing their choir robes. Standing in front of them are spectators who are listening to them sing. The African American man with his back to the camera, standing directly in front of the first row of choir members with his arms up is the choir director, Thomas Demps. On the back of the photograph is a yearbook photo stamp. The photographer is unknown.
