Description

The wedding of Joe L. and Ethel Mikler, Nov. 6, 1938. The last wedding ceremony to be held in the original, wood church. The bridal party stands on the white runner leading over the grassy field from the vehicle, at left, to the church. The bride seems to be looking back towards another person, probably her husband-to-be, who is not in this photo. Although the positions of the individuals make it impossible to identify them all, the brothers, sisters and cousins of the bride and groom are among those in the wedding party.
