Description

Rev. Daniel Estok (b. 9/10/1923 - d. 6/12/2007) served as one member of the Team Ministry, assisting St. Luke's senior pastor, John Kucharik,from 1977-1982 and also served as Visitation Pastor for St. Luke's from 1993-2001. After serving for many years as a parish pastor in IL, MO and CT, Rev. Estok was called to serve as Executive Director of the Lutheran Haven in Slavia in 1976. He fulfilled the responsibilities of that position while concurrently serving in various roles at St. Luke's Lutheran Church (and in interim roles at various other Central FL congregations). He and his wife, Eleanor, were residents of the Lutheran Haven community during his final years.; Small reprint of colored portrait and reprint of article and photo from Lutheran Haven Herald, Vol. 30, no. 1, November, 1999.
