Description

George Jakubcin, Sr. is shown riding a 3 wheeled contraption he invented to ride on the railroad tracks between Slavia and Winter Park. c.1925. He actually used this device to travel from Slavia to work in Winter Park, sometimes carrying his work tools in a box he had fashioned to sit between the rear wheels.; Snapshot (Courtesy: Robert Dinda) was scanned at SLLS, 2001 for the church's 90th anniversary display. Image also appears in Like a Mustard Seed: The Slavia Settlement (1982).
