A sign hangs on the railing on the second-story rail which reads ""McLeod Hospital, Training School for Negroes."" Many trees can be seen in the image, including oak trees and palm trees. A bench can be seen in the lower right-hand corner of the image. On the back of the image is written in pencil, "McLeod Hospital, yr. 1916." The photographer of the image is unknown.
