The other individuals in the photograph are unidentified. The children are wearing dresses, shirts, and trousers. They are gathered in a living room at Mary McLeod Bethune's home. On the back of the photograph is written "Mrs. Bethune and family; cousins, niece, g. grands." The photographer of the image is unknown.
