A color image of a group of four African American women gathering their belongings after the end of a meeting. They are standing in a large room next to an oversize table and folding chairs. The walls are painted blue and yellow. On a far wall there is a large painting of a peacock. One woman is wearing a white dress and black overcoat. Florence Roane can barely be seen, and she is wearing a grey top. The woman to the left of her is wearing a yellow suit and carrying a briefcase. The woman with her back to the photographer is wearing a puple flannel suit. At the right of the image is a man partially visible in a suit jacket and pants. On the table sits the ladies' bags and a briefcase. They appear to be talking to each other. On the back of the image is written in blue ink, "Palmetto Teachers Workshop 1971." There is also written a number "10." The photographer of the image is unknown.
