In the very front row of the group, starting at the left and following to the right is a man in a grey pinstripe suit, name unknown; Mary McLeod Bethune, wearing a black suit and stockings; Dr. Hall, wearing a three-button suit and tie; Jean Clore, wearing a lace top and skirt; Mame Higgins, wearing a suit jacket and skirt and eyeglasses; and Dr. Charles Drew, a Caucasian wearing a three-button suit. On the back of the image is the stamp of the photographer's studio.
