Description

Mary Rubin interviews Benjamin Rembaum, a 20-year-old undergraduate student that studies economics, via Zoom about the impact of COVID-19 on his life. Ben is highly involved in student government and his fraternity. Ben started a job at UCF when COVID-19 became prevalent. The job was short lived, but Ben found other opportunities, like the Deputy Chief of Staff for the UCF Student Body President’s cabinet. He shares his difficulties adjusting to the switch of modality and his living situation changing slightly. Ben remains hopeful about campus opening more. Ben ends with an uplifting message encouraging students to continue to get involved.
