Abstract

Work on the multiphased 21 Century Library project will begin in fall 2016. The 􀃤rst phase will include creation of a 􀃤fth 􀃥oor quiet zone designed for individual study, research, reading, writing and re􀃥ection. The project will also include construction of an Automated Retrieval Center and upgrades to elevators and bathrooms, as well as safety improvements to stairwells.
