Abstract

Welcome to the Spring 2017 issue of Illuminations: A Newsletter for Faculty.

This issue features two articles from faculty: Dr. Barry Mauer (Associate Professor of English; Interim Director, Texts and Technology Doctoral Program) and Dr. Leandra Preston-Sidler (Associate Instructor, Women’s & Gender Studies Program).

We also have three pieces in our Special Features section: an interview with Dr. Brian Fisak (Associate Professor, Department of Psychology), a peek at what your colleagues are reading, and a comprehensive look at the differences between academic libraries in Australia and the United States.

We’ve highlighted a current UCF Libraries exhibit, and included an update on the 21st Century Library project.
