Abstract

Letter dated July 13, 1682 (July 3, 1682 Old Style) from Phineas Pemberton to his uncle, Thomas Janney. It is followed by a response dated July 14, 1682 (July 4, 1682 Old Style) from John Bancroft. In the letter, Pemberton informs Janney of his daughter's death. He requests Janney's presence at the funeral before he and several Friends leave to travel.
