Title

3D Visualization And Imaging In Distributed Collaborative Environments

Abstract

A study was conducted on the methods and technology for 3D visualization imaging by the Optical Diagnostics and Applications Laboratory (ODALab). Specifically, the systems were integrated and assessed driven by real-world applications that can benefit from or enhance distributed collaborative environments. This paper surveys the research the ODALab program was doing in optical system design, fabrication, and assessment of innovative head-mounted displays (HMDs).
