Description
In Valencia College's Summer 2024 faculty development course, we engaged 80 faculty with varying levels of AI usage. Inspired by the 1960s Dating Game show, we created the "AI Dating Game" to introduce five LLMs as potential "dates" that could fit faculty' s differing needs. This approach demystified AI interaction by relating it to "dating." Our technique is a social-emotional strategy to increase engagement within the course and ease participants' technostress. Join our session to learn our methods and find inspiration for supporting faculty at your institution.
