Description
This session will share how one institution took a multi-faceted approach to launching its AI faculty initiative, including sharing implementation data. Approaches included launching communities of practice, university-wide learning sessions, program-specific collaboration, mini-grants for AI tools exporation, a webinar series, a book study, AI conference attendance support, and a microcredential. Questions of human and financial resources along with using internal vs. external expertise will be explored. Participants will gain snapshots into these modalities and take away ideas for how one or more of these approaches might be considered for their own context as well as ideas for getting started.
