Description
This project introduces a novel community-based framework for modernizing hospitality and tourism curricula at UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management through systematic AI integration and inclusive stakeholder collaboration. The model orchestrates industry meetings, faculty workshops, and mentorship pairs to ensure curriculum relevance, technological currency, and equitable faculty participation. Through structured dialogue among industry professionals, educators, student groups, and AI experts and a hands-on codesgn workshop, the initiative coordinates comprehensive updates to course content, incorporating AI knowledge and skills and industry-based applications. This model is intended to serve as an example for hospitality programs nationwide, demonstrating how to systematically update curricula on technological transformation while balancing the needs of industry partners, students, and faculty members.
