University hits 100,000-degree milestone: In just its 29th year awarding degrees, UCF has reached a mark that took other, much older universities far longer; Regents approve four new programs: The BOR also gave thumbs up for several other projects at its July meeting; Filmmaker starring in new role with UCF: The Sundance Film Festival co-founder is joining UCF this month to direct the Film and Animation department.
The UCF Report was a weekly publication of official information and news for the faculty and staff of the University of Central Florida. Its predecessor was the Accent (1967-1979). It ran from 1979 to 2000 as a printed publication. It was published every Wednesday during the academic year, and bi-weekly when classes were not in session and during the summer. Its name was changed to UCF Hot Sheet in 2000. Starting from 2001, the UCF Report became online (http://news.ucf.edu/UCFnews/).
