Vol. 22 No. 5, September 24, 1999
UCF Report; campus news; faculty and staff newsletter
Too close for comfort: Hurricane Floyd gave Florida a scare, forcing UCF to cancel classes, open shelter; UCF reaches out to neighbors: Steps are being taken to help students living of campus feel more like members of the university community.
The UCF Report was a weekly publication of official information and news for the faculty and staff of the University of Central Florida. Its predecessor was the Accent (1967-1979). It ran from 1979 to 2000 as a printed publication. It was published every Wednesday during the academic year, and bi-weekly when classes were not in session and during the summer. Its name was changed to UCF Hot Sheet in 2000. Starting from 2001, the UCF Report became online (http://news.ucf.edu/UCFnews/).
