Peace forum ushers in millennium: The 5,000-seat UCF Arena is expected to be filled for the Dec. 7 event featuring two Nobel Peace Prize winners; $10 million given to university last year: Donations to the UCF Foundation were the most ever, bringing total to $62 million; Computer to school, Engineering merge: The goal is to better serve the community by forming the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
The UCF Report was a weekly publication of official information and news for the faculty and staff of the University of Central Florida. Its predecessor was the Accent (1967-1979). It ran from 1979 to 2000 as a printed publication. It was published every Wednesday during the academic year, and bi-weekly when classes were not in session and during the summer. Its name was changed to UCF Hot Sheet in 2000. Starting from 2001, the UCF Report became online (http://news.ucf.edu/UCFnews/).
