Howard Phillips Hall several students walking in front of it. Trees block parts of the building. Phillips Hall was originally known as the 'Classroom Building (not to be confused with the current Classroom Building I.) There is a second print made from the same negative. It was dedicated to Howard Phillips in 1981. Howard Phillips (1902-1979) was a prominent Orlando businessman and philanthropist, and the son of "Doctor Philips", the former orange grove magnate, who has a neighborhood in Southwest Orlando named after him.
