Photo Description

A high angle view of Howard Phillips Hall under construction. Workers are visible on the roof. There is a large crane behind the building, and a large supply of materials in front of the building. Phillips Hall was originally known as the 'Classroom Building' (not to be confused with the current Classroom Building I on the North side of campus.) It was dedicated to Howard Phillips (1902 - 1979), a prominent Orlando businessman and philanthropist, and the son of "Doctor Phillips", the former orange grove magnate, in 1981.
