Elizabeth Espinosa will focus on providing an outline for being the most sought after talent for the most exciting opportunities in the hospitality industry. Discussion will center on identifying strengths, developing your personal brand, and navigating the opportunities and challenges (both professional and personal) that come with early career success while transitioning from junior to senior level roles.

Biography

Elizabeth Espinosa began her hospitality career with as a member of the Walt Disney College Program in 2004 and returned to her hometown of Valrico, Florida to open Estrella Tropical Puerto Rican Restaurant and Deli together with her father. In 2008, Elizabeth pursued an opportunity to join Loews Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando, Florida where joined the F&B team to manage the Orchid Court Lounge and soon moved to the Front Desk in the role of Assistant Front Office Manager. In 2012, her passion for travel and international work experience led her to be recruited to join the pre-opening team for the JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai overseeing VIP Service, Guest Relations and Executive Lounge. During her time in Dubai she was promoted to Front Office Manager and in 2014 accepted an offer to join The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong as Assistant Director of Rooms. During her tenure with The Ritz-Carlton, her role continued to expand and has since been promoted to Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms, overseeing Front Office, Guest Recognition, Concierge, Club Lounge, Loss Prevention, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, At Your Service and Housekeeping. She has also led the first implementation of the global Ritz-Carlton Spa Concept in Asia Pacific and The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong was awarded Hotel Operations of the year for Marriott International, Asia Pacific in 2016.
