Harrison Price Company (HPC) was retained by IBI Group on behalf of the Ministry of Land, Parks, and Housing of the Province of British Columbia in January 1986 to organize and carry out a charrette conference directed at determining the potentials for a major themed amusement attraction in the Vancouver area and the degree to which the availability of certain residual equipment, facilities and other values in Expo 86 can stimulate the creation of such a project.
