The Hotel Site (8BR240) was the early twentieth century site of a large wooden fishing pier often referred to as the Canaveral Pier, and a small hotel that was called the Canaveral Harbor Inn. These structures have since been removed as a result of the expansion of the space program. The Hotel Site (8BR240) underwent phase I testing in 2018. Within the Hotel Site (8BR240) collection you will find survey (shovel test paperwork and FS logs), mapping data (raw data), and reporting and archiving (student reports, final reports).
