Anaheim (Calif.); Disneyland (Calif.); Walt Disney Enterprises; Audio-Animatronics; Automation
A typed and handwritten report including edits created by Harrison A. Price of Economics Research Associates (ERA) for William Cottrell, President, WED Enterprises, Inc. The report is a study on planning the launching of Audio-Animatronics as a self-sufficient divisional venture within WED Enterprises. ERA, working in collaboration with WED legal, financial, design, and model shop staff, developed a specific plan of action that contains the following elements: 1) a review and evaluation of the status of product development, 2) a review and evaluation of patent and royalty position and the rights of ownership, 3) development of the plan for manufacturing the product, including recommended organization and a projection of required facilities, 4) a recommendation for a sales program treating suggested policy on leasing, pricing, and sales organization, and 5) projection of financial requirements for the next three years.
