Description

Color Black Americana postcard. Front: Features a stereotypical family of seven black children standing in front of a log cabin, with a black woman in the door and a dog in the front. Back: Numbered "2393". Addressed to Mrs. Lillie Minshall in Strafford, PA. Postmarked Nov. 25, 1909. Stereotyped images of black people were featured in prints, postcards and many other items at that time.
