Abstract

The first portion of this article, all that relates to the Indian Netahyaonka, has been taken by the Editor from a letter of Mr. Drew’s. This narrative of that survivor of the ancient Miccosukees gives additional interest to the author’s former notes on Florida Indian names (published here in the issues of April, 1926, and July, 1927) and to those which will appear in coming numbers of the Quarterly.
