Abstract
Work on the multiphased 21 Century Library project will begin in fall 2016. The rst phase will include creation of a fth oor quiet zone designed for individual study, research, reading, writing and reection. The project will also include construction of an Automated Retrieval Center and upgrades to elevators and bathrooms, as well as safety improvements to stairwells.
