Knight Tales

Knight Tales is the UCF Libraries’ Special Collections & University Archives oral history program dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history, traditions, and experiences of the University of Central Florida (UCF) community.

Knight Tales was established with three primary goals: to capture the personal stories of UCF community members, chronicle the university's history, growth, and impact, and preserve these stories for future generations.

Through recorded interviews, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and other members of the UCF community are invited to share memories of the people, places, and events that shaped their time at UCF. These firsthand accounts reveal a side of the university's history that cannot be found in official records alone, offering a unique perspective on UCF's evolution from its founding in 1963 to the present day.

Each Tale is preserved in the University Archives and shared online through STARS, UCF's digital repository, where it can be accessed by family, friends, researchers, and the broader community.
