Wilson Perez
Biography
Wilson Perez was born and raised in Oviedo, Florida. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in both Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. He has shown his passion for conducting research in engineering by participating in the Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP) at the University of Michigan in 2014. There he researched and constructed a light-weight, energy efficient body for a quadruped robot. At the University of Central Florida, Wilson Perez is currently developing a finite element model to analyze single-lap shear tests and simulate debonding of test specimens. He plans to obtain his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and contribute to the automotive field.
