Description
This Sway presentation is inspired by my journey volunteering at The Mission of Winter Haven. It was a fulfilling experience, specially because I also needed help in the past and I found that help at a homeless shelter. After leaving the homeless shelter I was able to succeed in life and become stable and because of the help I received when I needed it the most, I decided that for my Service-Learning project to volunteer at The Mission of Winter Haven. A wonderful place were love an compassion is felt everywhere and where people in need can get their essentials. At The Mission homeless individual can get meals, toiletries, clothing, hygiene, and congregation. Families who are facing financial hardship can go to The Mission to get groceries to cook at home. Their Mission is to "not judge, but uplift the broken."
