Oral history interview of William Joseph Szilasi. Interview conducted by Anthony Pilot (accompanied by Dr. Austin Raabe) at Faith Lutheran Church in Naples, Florida on January 25, 2019. Interview topics include family background, lifelong interest in the Marine Corps, basic training, training in the Marine Cadet Program, decision to drop out of program to go to college, staying as an enlisted soldier, going to Chery Point and joining the Marine Air Group 14, deployment to Cuba, experiences with the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis, life after the service, experience with Wall Street and accounting, membership in the Marines For Life, views on war, and the views of treatment of veterans.
