The Wilson Cemetery (8BR2353) is located within the boundary of the Burns Site (8BR85). It is named after Henry Wilson, an Army soldier who would later become assistant lighthouse keeper. The cemetery contains 2 marked graves belonging to Wilson’s children. The Wilson cemetery has undergone soil probing, metal detecting, thermal imaging, and the use of cadaver dogs to locate anomalies that might have been unmarked graves. The results of these findings can be found in the reporting and archiving folder, which contains the associated student reports.
