Abstract
This brief presidential note reports on 1984 activities of the Association for Communication Administration, with emphasis on expanding affiliations with communication-related professional associations. It describes planned collaboration with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, ongoing efforts to connect with theatre and communication organizations, and existing affiliations with regional and national associations. The note also updates members on a forthcoming revision of the Careers in Communication brochure, review of the Consultant Service membership pool, committee and task force reorganization, and registration for the 12th Annual Seminar in Chicago. The piece concludes with acknowledgments to ACA officers, committee members, and participants in association programs.
