Description

The purpose for this project was to learn about the life of Eileen Gray and the journey she took that led her to become an Architect. Eileen Gray was an Irish furniture designer and architect of new innovative technologies in architecture. Her inspiration and interest in architecture was strongly encouraged by her lover Jean Badovici. Eileen's most iconic architectural design is the E-1027 house. Eileen Gray was a very inspirational furniture designer and architect during the modern movement in architecture. She was 97 when she died on October 31, 1976.
