Description

For this project we were to research the life of one of the most significant Japanese architects, Kengo Kuma. He is recognized for his ability to create "The totality of architecture" by activating the senses and focusing people's attentions on the space itself. Many events have shaped his style but he stays true to himself and continues to create transparent spaces with vehicular techniques and the help of craftsmen. Kengo Kuma is currently at the peak of his career with Tokyo's National Stadium under construction. This project communicates the diversity of Japan and will promote Japanese architecture to the globalization.
