Description
“The Process” was created to accompany my photographic works. The book is hand made with tacked in silver gelatin prints and the negative that was used to create them. The paper used is a thin and semi-transparent to allow the enlarger settings to show through on the back of each print. The images and negatives can be viewed side by side or overlapped. When the two are placed on top of one another the image becomes muted. After production, this book was used as a guide in the dark room as I completed a series of prints dedicated to the memory of my father.
