From the artist statement:

This book is inspired by the fictional horror podcast The Magnus Archives from Rusty Quill. The story features various cursed uncanny valley books stamped “from the library of Juergen Leitner”. I made my own cursed nonsense book themed after high strangeness phenomena associated with alien and men in black encounters.
