Artist Statement:
The Smore Book, or its alternate title, Skylar’s Guide to Surviving Any Project is a playful reflection on my fraught relationship to productivity using the metaphor of a smore. In order to make one, you have to set a marshmallow on fire. Not great for the marshmallow, but it sure gets results. The pages are bound piano hinge style, alternating between digital drawings and vignettes of the marshmallow becoming roasted.
