Description

When something is abstracted, it is reduced to the simplified essence of the original idea. This short booklet is centered around the theme of abstracted form. I notice from reading and watching classic fairytale stories that every fairytale has a basic format. Almost all fairytales have a princess or queen, a prince, a villan, and a happy ending. I decided to take a more artistic approach to this format by creating my own fairytale book using my own cartoon characters, along with abstract backgrounds to illustrate the story. I wrote the story using short phrases to maintain the theme of abstraction. I hope that you find my illustrations to be entertaining and visually stimulating.
